HISI itself introduces as a manufacturer of High Density polythene pipe in the country.
We started pipe manufacturing since the beginning of the Fiscal year 19993/1994 which has became an additional boom to the polythene industry  in Nepal

HISI pipes are manufactured by HISI POLYTHENE AND PLASTIC INDUSTRIES (P) LTD. HISI Pipes are economical, tough, durable and flexible. The pipes are extruded from imported raw materials PE-80 standard (HE 3470-LS) HOSTALIN GM 5010 T. 2 or equivalent approved compound consisting of virgin polythene in which carbon black and suitable non-toxic anti-oxidant are evenly dispersed. These raw materials undergo carbon black content test, digital melt flow index test, density test etc. which confirmed manufacturing specifications.

HISI pipes are produced using latest technology. Machines are imported from India and abroad. Factory is located at Balaju Industrial District, Kathmandu.

After the production, pipes undergo through many laboratory tests such as hydraulic test, reversion test, visual test etc.

HISI pipes are approved by Nepal Bureau of Standard and Meteorology`s specification NS40, Indian Standard (IS), German standard (DIN) and their equivalent.

HISI Polythene is promoted by experienced Board of Directors who set the strategies and policies of the Company. Day to day work and marketing of the company is managed by a team of executives. There are many full time administrative and technical staff who look after administration, accounts, marketing and productions etc.
